Travel in changing weather is always a concern… so here was a quick knit for hubby to stave off those head-colds. Of course I’d planned it to be a 1-week project, but it got done in 2 days!! 😀
The designe called for worsted wool, which I didnt have. So I did the next best thing: knit with 2 3-ply strands held together. Then again I worried if I had enough of a single color to be able to knit the whole thing. So after 2″, I simply changed one strand to another color, which also gave it a kinda misty look.
So here’s my very first beanie/hat!!
