Ahimsa Silk (also known as Eri silk, or Peace Silk) is a lovely textured silk that embodies the concept of Peace. Unlike cultivated Mulberry Silk, Ahimsa grows wild in the forests of NE India, and is collected only after the moth has flown away.

Ahimsa is a light-weight loosely plied yarn that can be used for any craft, be it knitting, crochet or weaving.
